The change in the weather will keep us together

From a notebook:

Last night yes I did.
Last night no we did not.
Did not we what?
Produce a kid.
Off the ball tear the lid.
Aces are trumps yet hearts you bid.
Of this nuisance must we get rid.
Leave the rot for what time forgot.
Leave the time for what we did not.
Leave the crime and thanks a lot.
I prefer weather that's hot.
You prefer the weather that's better.
I prefer to write you a love letter.
See you later, love. Wear a sweater.

When the weather gets rough
And it's whiskey in the shade
It's best to wrap your savior
Up in cellophane
He flows like the big muddy
But that's ok
Pour him over ice cream
For a nice parfait

Well it's got to be a chocolate Jesus
Make me feel good inside
Got to be a chocolate Jesus
Keep me satisfied

Last night I did not and
did not wear a thing.
If aces are humps
then what do you bid?
